McFarland Home Page: How did you find TMAN?: Alta Vista Comments: I am a Sept. 4, 1971 1st Degree Black Belt of Motobu-Ryu and was trained on Okinawa while stationed there at Kadena Air Base. My Sensei was (at the time) Sensei Shian Toma, now Master Toma. I stopped practicing Karate about 1975-6 due to work and school. I started taking the Martial Arts again in 1994 at the age of 46. On December 21, 1996, at age 49 I received my 1st Degree Black Belt of Jhoon Rhee Tae Kwon Do. I am now 50 and I am continuing to practice hard --- it is the only way. For those interested, I have pictures of Master Toma, his school and some of his students, including myself. It has been a long time, but I have fond and respectful memories of Master Toma's early schools.

I have been studying for 28yrs and am also an weapons expert in matsubayashi-ryu.I also have studied hapkido for 28yrs. I also feel that we need to emphasize our similarities to the public so they wont continue to think we are enemies as the medias portray.
