North American Tang Soo Do Federation

The North American Tang Soo Do Federation was founded in July of 1992 in Boca Raton, Florida. Its heritage stems from the 9th century when Soo Bahk Do, the ancient form of Tang Soo Do, was practiced in Korea.  Tang Soo Do was founded in 1945 by the renowned Grand Master Hwang Kee who came to the United States and formed the United States Tang Soo Do Federation. Master Ron Tramontano tested in the 75 Dan testing and received his Dan rank from Grand Master Hwang Kee. He formed an extremely successful West Boca Karate Tang Soo Do studio in Boca Raton, Florida in June of 1986.  Master Tramontano later founded the North American Tang Soo Do Federation which now is headquarters in Boca Raton, Florida.

Ron Tramontano is the Chairman and Founder of NATSDF & TMAN. He is an extremely successful entrepreneur, businessman, author and martial arts master in the arts of Tang Soo Do. As the head of the North American Tang Soo Do Federation, Tramontano teaches and oversees the instruction of over eight hundred students and 160 black belts a week at his facility in Boca Raton, Florida.  He, along with Dr. Ron Valli,  are the creators of one of the largest martial arts web site in the world, "The Martial Arts Network On-Line". Another of Tramontano's creations is a publicly traded company he runs as President. This company, TMANglobal.com (OTCBB CHOP),  provides the martial arts community and the Extreme Sports enthusiasts with the supplies, accessories and safety gear they need.

A true visionary, Tramontano and his partner, Mr. Tony Interdonato, are now creating the first ever cable television network for martial arts.  The Martial Arts Action Network or "TMAN" as it has become known to the martial arts industry is located at Universal Studios, Florida.

View the many photograph and pictures hanging all around the school from Chuck Norris with Master Tramontano to Don "The  "Dragon" Wilson with Master Tramontano.  You name the martial arts icon and be assured Master Tramontano and he know of each other.

This department handled all live televised events from presidential elections, to the hostages being returned from Iran, to the Popes visiting New York, to the construction of CNN transmitting facility at the Twin Towers in New York.

Tramontano moved to Boca Raton, Florida and where he was employed by a Miami based communication company called Teltec Communication Inc. where he helped engineer and build Teltec's first long distance microwave communications system.
