First of all, I want to start off by saying that "Novice Black Belt" is an oxymoron. In an honorable school, there is no such thing.And just because the master is not always around, does not mean he is a con artist. In most schools, this is the way it works.~~~~~I am a 14 yr old gold belt( an intermediate belt at my school. I am taking taekwondo, aikido, pasaryu, taichi, and judo.

Comments: I think Martial Arts have a remarkable cultural background with spiritual values..but what is going on now is commecial martial arts: Dojo Owners are Masters of blood suckers and con artists..you go there as a parent who know nothing about martial arts looking for the best for your kids and pay a large amount of "contract" fee then discover later that the Master is always busy and that the instructions is held by novice black belts working for the honour of the Master..talk about promotions and equipements and tournament fees, the sooner you get out of their Web and fly away to any other sport, the better

Comments: I was just looking at some Jean Claude Van Damme pictures, and I just so happened to run across you. No I am not a school owner, but that is what I would like to do though. I lost my father two years ago, and he was a Martial Artist, (5th degree black belt)!!!! And I always looked up to my father through life, as well as I do Van Damme!!! But I really love Martial Arts, it gives me piece of mind, and helps me to relax!!!!! But please do so by sending me an e mail I would love to hear from anyone who loves Martial Arts as much as I do!!!!!!!!
